The Best Restaurant of the Year 2022 award, once again, affirms the level of P’Ti Saigon and the talent of the French Chef Sakal Phoeung.

HTS-Hospitality Team Services congratulate our partner, Chef Sakal Phoeung, and his team for his new achievement in Vietnam by obtaining the prestigious recognition award as The Best Restaurant of the Year by the globally renowned Harper’s Bazaar Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine for his venue in Ho Chi Minh City, PT’i Saigon Restaurant a symbol of culinary excellence, luxury and style.
The 850 square-meter restaurant was designed by the renowned French architect and designer Reda Amalou, who created and designed famous hotels in Vietnam, such as The Nam Hai Resort (Hoi An) or the Six Sense (Con Dao).
P’Ti Saigon is the first restaurant in Vietnam with a “festive dining concept” theme, bringing culinary connoisseurs to moments of joy and excitement and a high-class culinary experience. Besides, P’Ti Saigon is one of the few restaurants in Saigon that organizes fashion shows in the style of the coastal city of St. Tropez every Friday and Saturday night.
Coming to P’Ti Saigon, diners will be immersed in the culinary culture of Provence, the homeland of lavender flowers in the south of France. With the hands of professional chefs, including the talented French chef Sakal Phoeung, create a unique destination delicacy.
Established in 2019, P’Ti Saigon has quickly become a place to connect the top chefs of the region and the world in Vietnam; recently, the Networking party event from the Escoffier Chefs Association; the Disciple Escoffier Gala Dinner at P’Ti Saigon in May 2022, with the appearance of prestigious Michelin Star Chefs such as Herve Rodriguez. – one (1) Michelin star chef and Thierry Drapeau who ran the two (2) Michelin Stars Thierry Drapeau Logis de la Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon, en Pays de La Loire, France and one (1) Michelin Star recently for his restaurant Signature in Bangkok.
Before launching PT’I Saigon, Chef Sakal Phoeug is also running another successful place in Vietnam called Le Corto Restaurant, located in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. A destination where he had the honour to delight six months after opening the French President, President Francois Hollande at that time.

Sakal Phoeung is a French Executive Chef with over 15 years of experience in luxury Accord Group hotels and several upscale restaurants. After serving as Executive Chef for the Sofitel Wanda Beijing (China) during the Olympic game and the opening of Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra (Cambodia), he returned to Vietnam in 2012 as the Executive Chef of Sofitel Plaza Saigon until 2016. His cuisine reflects a unique blend of creative flair and passion for food, while his interpersonal skills make him one of the most beloved chefs in Ho Chi Minh City. His enthusiasm, generosity, and strong work ethic have helped him build a solid culinary team striving for perfection and nothing less.
Now owner and chef of his restaurants of Le Corto and Le PT’i Saigon and recognized as a Maitre Cuisinier de France, President Escofier Vietnam and President Bocuse D’Or Vietnam, Chef Sakal keeps on sharing his knowledge and passion through culinary consulting projects in partnership with HTS-Hospitality Team Services
